I attended Ife-Oluwa primary and Atakumosa High school in Osu my home town. I also attended Oyo State College of Arts and Sciences, Ile-Ife before proceeding to university. After graduating from university, I had postgraduate medical training in internal medicine with specialization in respiratory medicine and obtained fellowship of National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria in November 2005. I bagged the Doctor of Medicine (MD) of National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria in 2020.   I joined Medicine Department, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, College of Health sciences, University of Ilorin in 2008 as a lecturer 1 and ascended the ranks to become a professor in 2020.  I am also an honorary consultant Physician and senior pulmonologist to University of Ilorin teaching hospital. I was elected a fellow of the prestigious American College of Chest Physicians in 2010. I am also a member of American thoracic society, European Respiratory society and Pan African Thoracic Society. I belong to many national professional and academic unions/societies in Nigeria. My research interests are pulmonary function tests, Asthma, COPD, Tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS.
