Philip Manma KOLO is a Professor of Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, College of Health Sciences, University of Ilorin. He has over 19 years of university teaching, research and considerable administrative experience. He has served as Head of Department of Internal Medicine, Coordinator of Medical Education Resources Unit and the Chairman of Computer Based Test Centre, University of Ilorin, Nigeria.
His area of research interest include hypertension, hypertension in the offspring, heart failure, coronary artery disease, echocardiography and preventive Cardiology with over 75 publications in reputable outlets covering journals, chapters in books and edited conference proceedings. He has successfully co-supervised more than 20 residents in Cardiology subspecialty of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria and the West African College of Medicine. He has equally won many research grants and a member of many professional bodies within and outside Nigeria.
